Adair Turner is a British economist and businessman. He is the Chairman of the Institute for New Economic Thinking and a Senior Fellow at the McKinsey Global Institute. He previously served as the Chairman of the Financial Services Authority and the head of the UK Pensions Commission. He is known for his work on financial regulation and pension reform, and for his criticism of some aspects of the economic policies of central banks. He has also written several books on economics and finance, including “Between Debt and the Devil: Money, Credit, and Fixing Global Finance.”
