Nouriel Roubini is an American economist and professor at New York University’s Stern School of Business. He is known for his criticism of the global financial system and his predictions of the 2008 financial crisis. Roubini is also a frequent commentator on economic and financial issues in the media.

Nouriel Roubini is CEO of Roubini Macro Associates, LLC, a global macroeconomic consultancy firm in New York. At a 2006 address to the International Monetary Fund, Roubini warned of the impending recession due to the credit and housing market bubble.
